I agree. Most settle for what's on the lot.
You can get a great deal on overstock.
But there are an endless combination of pks, stand alone options. Dont want a sunroof? Order without. Ten week time from order placed to delivery in some cases. That was, or should be the new way .Order the exact model, color, trim level ,accessories that you want.So many different things avail, you have never seen.
And dealer has a sale! Do it! Old school way, In the 60's & 70s many cars were special ordered. The list of options, convience.groups are endless.Today with computer technology it must be even easier. Back in the day, check boxes, COPO, order was hand written, interpreted in Detroit. Remember, many overseas manafactures do have plants here, also Canada and Mexico, the wait is worth it!

Mark, was there a move to customer special order in the past? I recall being promised to "Build your Car Unique as You!" Customers would love to have the exact color, mix and match options for a new vehicle. Dealership resistance?
