Advertisements on Edmunds

Since your ads cover approx 50% of the view-able page and can not be turned off starting today I no longer use your web site ... there are numerous other web sites that are more user friendly.  GOODBYE!

I understand why ads are needed, but your implementation is down-right awful. The banner at the bottom is the most hideous, annoying and intrusive thing I have ever seen. Pair that with the ads on the right hand side of the pages and their's barely 50% of the screen for actual content. And since your website redesign seems to be predicated on using enormous amounts of white space, the website is completely unusable. I'm with the rest of the folks who are going elsewhere for research. Your site is awful!

Now that ads cover the lower half of the screen on, the website is useless as a research tool.  Reviews are basically unreadable.  The formatting is also a mess on certain mobile devices and on chromebooks with the "Edmunds" logo superimposed over navigation buttons at the top, and the pages not fitting the screen (4:3 format).  It won't take long for the loss in traffic to the site to erase any money made by the new ad-heavy layout.  Talk about blowing it...Sayonara Edmunds...

Edmunds can't help itself from that f****** bar at the bottom of the screen and if they want to completely ruin the user experience they can do so.   Great job.
